Tera Firma
As the beautiful morning sunrise light approached us at around 06:00am, with thick cloud clumps and the beautiful colours mother nature has to offer, we could see land in the distance, all hands on deck, waiting for the terra firma under our feet, the excitement was mounting, now 16 days at sea, we are all ready to tie down and sit back and enjoy the moment, even though, we know there will be some hard goodbyes coming our way in the near future the idea of land was still appealing.
Headsets on, lines and fenders prepared, we are ready to make our approach, on a beautiful early Saturday morning. No more stress about lack of fuel, power, water or air conditioning as we will have shore power and dock water for the next few days.
We spent some time giving Intle Breeze some cleaning love, as she has had a long ride. We enjoyed some off the boat food and drinks, thankfully, as if we had gone much longer I would have run out of onions, although with great caution I still arrived with 2 😂
Now the count down begins as we only have 4 days here.
